Of creative mind and restless spirit, always in search of the next film challenge, Jaime Fidalgo is a writer-director born in Madrid, Spain, but raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he spent his childhood and discovered his passion for movie making. At age 18, he began his quest for a film career that catapulted him to cities such as New York––for the One-Year Filmmaking Program at the New York Film Academy––and Canada, to study screenwriting at the Vancouver Film School. To date, he has written and directed twelve short films that have been screened around the world, highlighting: “Imago wings” (2007), “Animal within” (2012), “Blind puppet” (2013) and “Orizaba’s Peak” (2017), with a positive route in the most varied film festivals in which more than 260 official selections and 24 awards are added.
